I wanted to post on here how thankful I am to have had such a great collection of heroes and friends of mine on this project. I had always wanted to do a big crossover special with really big podcasts, but I wasn't sure if anyone would want to play along and it felt more like one of those things you just think about and don't follow through with.
However, once I let it slip on how fun I thought it would be to do, Amanda very nonchalantly said, "why don't you?" I'm not a person who is easly motivated by other people, but her tone about it is what brought me the confidence. She didn't see it as me teaching myself how to write my first script, the extra hours it would take learning how to build good scenes for an audio drama quality presentation, not to mention asking friends to play along and provide their own content for it- risking getting turned down!
Between Christine Schiefer agreeing to play a character in my silly story, Xandy Schiefer accepting the invite to do a Beach Too Sandy, Water Too Wet cameo, and all the other shows giving me an emphatic, "yes!" I've never had so many people agree to go along with one of my artistic visions and it was a really great feeling.
Below, I will provide the show notes and everything, but every single person involved has helped play a big part in allowing me this experience and creative milestone. Maybe we will do some kind of behind the scenes episode on it, if people want it, but I just really wanted my thankfulness to be in one more place in the big, wide internet.
