So... What Is Live, Laugh, Larceny?
Live, Laugh, Larceny is true crime for people who think most true crime is a little too murdery.
Hosted by longtime friends Amanda and Trevin, the show takes real stories of ridiculous, low-stakes crimes and treats them with the dramatic seriousness they absolutely do not deserve.
No murder. Just bad decisions.
Every episode brings you petty criminals, absurd motives, bizarre circumstances, and stories that somehow manage to become much more complicated than they needed to be.
Before the crimes begin, Amanda and Trevin warm up with segments like Dreadful Dilemmas and Killer Facts, mixing relatable chaos, weird trivia, and the occasional question nobody should have asked out loud.
Then it's time for the crime.
Sometimes it's theft.
Sometimes it's vandalism.
Sometimes it's an absolutely baffling attempt at revenge.
And sometimes it's not a crime at all. We just feel strongly about it.
That's the fun.

What Makes This Different From True Crime?

We went another direction.
A guy steals something incredibly stupid.
Someone starts a feud with a neighbor over something that absolutely isn't worth fighting about.
A criminal makes a plan that somehow gets worse with every step.
And then Amanda and Trevin sit down and ask:
"Why the hell would you do that?"
Live, Laugh, Larceny takes the storytelling and dramatic presentation of true crime and applies it to the crimes that are too weird, too petty, too ridiculous, or simply too stupid to justify a Netflix documentary.
It's true crime.
Just... smaller.
And much funnier.

🐾 Dead Animals at a Grave
Meet Joseph Stroud, an Arkansas man who decided to decorate a rival's grave with dead animals.
Because apparently normal interpersonal conflict wasn't working.
🚌 The Edible Bus Driver
Jinhuan Chen was a bus driver who accidentally consumed edibles while working.
It's exactly the sort of sentence that makes you stop reading and think:
"Okay, I need to know what happened next."
🛗 The Elevator Incident
Patricia Ann Jamison is responsible for one of the most infamous elevator incidents we've ever covered.
We'll let the episode explain that one.
🏺 The Antique Situation
Then there's Mitchell Vest, whose unusual relationship with antiques takes petty crime into some very unexpected territory.
🚚 The Robbery Where Someone Stole the Robber's Truck
More recently, Jalen Godard attempted to rob a Verizon store.
Things did not go according to plan.
In fact, they went so badly that his own truck was stolen during the crime.
Sometimes the universe writes the punchline for us.
🐈 The Cat Rescue Controversy
And finally, Amanda brings us to Wetumpka, Alabama, where Beverly Roberts and Mary Alston find themselves at odds with local officials after helping stray cats through a trap-neuter-release program.
Because even helping cats can apparently become a petty crime story.

1. EP 177: Taking Shit to Another Level
Amanda's story about Patricia Ann Jameson, the Florida woman who pooped in the elevator during a ONE STORY ride. The question still stands. Was this on accident or on purpose?
2. EP 149: Dial M for Mischief
The episode with Trevin's story of Mitchell Vest, the man who went to multiple antique stores, in a kilt, and put items in his butt. But, he also put them right back on the table for others to pickup. This was voted our 2025 Petties WTF Crime Award winner.
3. EP 131: Decor of the Dead
One of 2023's many Halloween episodes, where Trevin told the story of Joseph Stroud, the old man who littered his rival's gravestone with dead animals.
4. EP 90: When a (Drunk) Stranger Calls
This episode has Amanda's 'Flamin' Hot Kitty' story, about the woman who called the fire department to tell them her pussy was on fire.
5. EP 70: Creepy. Crimey. Grossy.
This episode has Amanda's story of the bus driver who at the marijuana gummies.
